It’s the standard to which we hold every bed and breakfast. The mansion is super clean, has super comfortable beds, has extra snacks and drinks and a breakfast to die for.
It is located across from Central Park in Old Louisville. The neighborhood is made up of gorgeous turn of the last century mansions for blocks and blocks. In spring there is a tour of the neighborhood which would be fun to catch. Central Park features bands and special events like Shakespeare In The Park.
I don’t know how a person does what they do with food, but the breakfast is outstanding. I had to take some with me because I couldn’t eat it all!
We have stayed in The Peacock Room for $155 and The Parkside for $140. The Parkside has a bathroom inside the room, but it doesn’t have a ceiling. It shares the ceiling with the bedroom and is partitioned with walls creating an open space above. The word “WOW” literally slipped out of my mouth when we entered the Peacock Room. The Peacock has an extremely high end bathroom.
