August 11 9 am – Leave Milwaukee from the Watertown Plank Park and Ride with an additional pick-up in Pewaukee. We head for the Red Rooster in Mineral Point where we enjoy a Cornish Pasty and
Figgy Hoggin or Bread Pudding for dessert (included), just like was served at Pendarvis. Pendarvis Historical site is our next stop. The stone buildings that make up Pendarvis Historic Site today were originally constructed by Cornish immigrants who immigrated to the area in the early 1800s. We will enjoy a guided tour to learn the significance they played in the history of Mineral Point.

After the tour we head to Dubuque. We check into the Best Western and then the bus will drop off us off downtown to explore Dubuque and find dinner.
August 12 7 am – We check out of the hotel and head for the dock to board the Riverboat Twilight. This cruise heads North from Dubuque and takes in one of the most beautiful stretches of the Mississippi River. If the river conditions are favorable, you will also have the chance to explore Historic Guttenberg, Iowa.

Includes continental breakfast (included), two snacks (included), full lunch (included), historical narration, great scenery, Eagles, a Zen atmosphere, plus local favorite LA Suess on banjo. The boat redocks at 5:00 pm. We board the bus and find dinner on the way back to Milwaukee.
